Aditya grew up in a farming family in rural Maharashtra. After a decade in the corporate world, he returned to his roots — literally. He converted his family's one-acre plot to organic farming, determined to prove that chemical-free agriculture could be viable.

The first harvest was challenging — yields dropped 60%. But the soil that had been lifeless for years began to show signs of recovery. Earthworms returned. The water retention improved. And the vegetables — grown without a single chemical — tasted like food should.

“I realised that the problem wasn't organic farming,” Aditya says. “The problem was that no one was building the supply chain to make it work.” That realisation became Swanand.
